Eduardo De Jesús is a Tucson based visual artist focusing mainly on drawing and painting with work in graphic design, animation, and video game design. Self taught since age 18, Eduardo was inspired to draw from a Monet exhibit, and a chance encounter with an impressive portrait artist working on the street. The primary influences in his work are realism impressionism and minimalism. In his teen years, more than one of Eduardo’s family members had breast cancer, which later became a driving theme in his art as an adult. Eduardo’s favorite artists include: Kim Jung Gi, Yoji Shinkawa, Arnt Jensen.
